New August 2019 power bi desktop update - installation issue

Hi,

Looking to install latest August 2019 power bi desktop update and after select language and clicking next rather than it proceed to install it prompts if want to cancel installtaion - no other power bi tasks in task manager.

Usually when install update o.k.

Anyone seen this before?

Observed this installation issue on multiple machine and multiple trials... 

Any solution so far?

You could submit your idea in Power BI ideas Forum and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.

Hi,

Have submitted the idea.

Getting message "Unable to open document.  We weren't able to the saved database to the model"

when try open any power bi file now.

Anyone got August 2019 update working?

Considering uninstalling power bi then attempt reinstall.

Hi,

For info tried installking power bi to d drive as hsort of space on c drive and looks to have installed.

However, noticed in task manager despite it having name of 64 shows as 32 bit for some reason - 64 bit pc hence why cose what thought was 64 bit version.
