Need information Enlighten Slicer custom visualization

Hi All,

I am trying to use Enlighten Slicer custom visualization to make the choices look like a navbar.

Just wanted to check if it has a limitation to show only 6 choices ? I have 7 values but it is not showing me the last valye in the choice list.

Also, is there any other way of doing it by any other custom visualization. I am not able to use HTML/CSS to create a navbar.

Regards,

Akash

Hey,

I'm always the using a normal Slicer if I want to create something that looks like a NavBar. Here is a little example

Slicer Horizontal.png

Mark the slicer

Format -> General -> Orientation: "Horizontal"

Slicer Horizontal - Formating Pane.png

Then I'm starting to play with the ohter Format options like

  • Header, basically I always disable the header, most of the time, it's self explaining what can be selected
  • Items, ...

Maybe you can accomplish what you are looking for by using the standard slicer. Another alternative I'm using quite often is the chiclet slicer here can configure, how many columns should be used ...

Hope this helps

Regards

Tom

Thank you. this helps. How do we change the background color for the hover items.

Also is there any way to default the page to use the 1st value shown in the navbar ? Right now nothing is selected when I open the page.

Sorry for silly questions. But I find it easy way to learn quickly.
