Need help on understanding on refresh part using direct query mode in power bi

Hi Experts,

As I am using direct query mode in my work and the data source is an azure data warehouse, here I am just creating the model and publishing it into the workspace, for this do we require a data refresh??? or can we implement incremental refresh on this if required..

Direct Query doesn't use refreshes.  It issues dynamic queries against the data source each time your user interacts with the report visuals.
