Need help on DAX

Hi Experts,

I have data like below: Name and Value (aggregation: Average).

Now I want to see the data like below:

2016-10-17_9-20-23.png

Logic: If I have same name, then it should return summation on avg. values and if it is only one name then it should return avg. value.

Please note that I have some other fields with Name.

Could someone please help me to solve this?

Thank you,

Niket Talati

I found out the solution. First I created a measure with AVERAGEX and and another measure with SUMX(distinct(column name), measure).

I must be missing something, you should just need to do a table visualization, add in [Name] from your first table. Add in [Avg. Value] from your first table and choose an aggregatin of SUM.

Hi @Greg_Deckler:

Thanks for the reponse. Yes, I think I am not clear in my last message. I am using table only and changing the aggregation to "Average" for the measure. Now I need summation of this avg. aggregation value in new table based on the logic I mentioned above. I tried with everything and as I have written in above message: I have some other fields in the table so the aggragation is not just simple.
