Need help importing chart with hierarchy

Excel file to importExcel file to importImported Excel in Power BIImported Excel in Power BI

Hi all,

I have a chart with a hierarchy where the first column (month) includes 2 sub categories and their corresponding occurrence. I somehow need to move it to BI, i don't want to have the same month typed for both sub categories. When i simply move it to Power BI, i get "null" in the blank cells as shown below

Hi @Ogudkov ,

After loading into Power BI desktop, locate to Query Editor mode. Right click [Date] field, choose "Fill->Down".

Apply changes. In report view mode, insert a Matrix visual to display data as below. Drill down to "Date-Color" level and turn off "Stepped layout" option.
