Multiply visualisation by unique values of column (dimension) in current filter context

You've created a great Gauge visualisation for following a certain KPI. Now you wish to have the ability to have a sort of Drill down ability by certain Dimension (and still maintaining the filter context)

So let's say I have data from P01-15 to P06-16... If no filter is selected in the Periods Dimension, then it shows Only one Gouge with KPI calculations for all periods combined.

Now If I select Periods P1-15 to P12-15 I wish to see twelve Gauges, each showing KPI data for one period. If I choose p11-15 to P03-16 I wish to see only five gauges (both multiplications filling out a predefined space on my dashboard...

Could that be a Q&A feature Sort of a Show me [Name of the visualisation] multiplied by [Name of dimension]? or could this be a report feature?

Or is this impossible to do?

According to your description, you want to duplicate the visuals with different group value based on selection, like the "List" tablix in Reporting Services. However, in Power BI Desktop, there's no way to replicate the visuals based on different group data currently. Please submit a feature request on Ideas: https://support.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi
