Multiplication of two measures give incorrect result

I have created two measures in the same table: severity and frequency. I'm trying to get the formula to get the product of the two. But it gives me incorrect results.

My formula is : [Avg Severity] * [ Average Frequency]

Hi @Anonymous

I suspect that your results are actually correct but, due to rounding, they look incorrect in the table.

Try increasing the level of precision (decimal places) of your two base measures, I'm sure you'll see that your 'Loss Cost' measure is correct.

Best regards,

Martyn
