Hello Guys,
I have a table "Interaction" linked to the table "Member" which is linked to the table "Site".
My dashboard is sourcing on a SSAS Tabular cube, as direct connection.
A new need is to add a field in "Interaction" called "Participant" which should be linked to "Member" too. The problem is, I experienced some active/inactive issues, and also ambiguity links.
Do you have an idea how to solve this please ?
Regards.
Hi,
In Power BI you can only have 1 active relationship between 2 tables.
That is why your relationship between Interaction[Participant] and Member[Participant] is inactive.
From May 2017, you can add report level measures in a Power BI Desktop connected live to a SSAS Cube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yezgr3QN9hw
So leverage this feature to turn on the relationship locally.
Indeed, You can turn a relationship on in a DAX measure using the "userelationship" function: https://exceleratorbi.com.au/multiple-relationships-between-tables-in-dax/.
