Multiple chart filtering while maintaining highlighting

When you select a bar on a chart it filters other charts. Is it possible to filter other charts by selecting 2 bars from distinct charts?

E.g. clicking category X bar on histogram 1, then clicking category Y on histogram 2 and dependent KPIs are filtered by both category X and category Y.

Currently, under edit interactions, the two charts have highlight selected with regard to each other and I would like to maintain that.
