Multiple Slicers Interaction

Scenario:

2 date 'between' slicers are being used to filter a matrix: Contract Date is the field being used in Slicer 1 & Date Added is being used in Slicer 2.

  • The input dates for each slicer are 6/1/2019 & 6/30/2019
  • The output on the matrix are records that have a Contract Date & a Date Added between 6/1/2019 & 6/30/2019.
  • The question: Is there a way to edit the interactions so that the output on the matrix are records that have a Contract Date OR a Date Added between 6/1/2019 & 6/30/2019?

I can't really think of any good solution for this. It's possible to do if you duplicate the entire query and append contract date and date added into a single column. You will duplicate every record but you will get a individual record on both contract date and date added.

Hi @AdamTass1 ,

I’m confused about your requirement. Are the two column of date from the same table? What the relationship between them ? And what is your matrix like? Do you put both the date in it?

Can you please share the sample data and the expected output? According to the current scenario, I can’t create a sample to test it.

Best Regards,

Xue Ding
