So I have a table that is going to have many dates in it for each operating unit. What I am looking to do is to create slicers to break the date down. Sounds simple, but wait a minute, it is not as simple as you think.
In the picture above, I already have my table sliced down for Location, IBX, Generator and Date.Year. When you look at the month slicer, it just lists all twelve months, and not January, February, March and April. Same with Day, it lists 1-31.
If I do Date.Year and Date it works fine. If I knew I was only going to have 24 dates in a year, it is doable, but I know it can be a lot more than that.
