Multiple CSV files in one folder location ❲Solved❳

Hi All, I am trying to import data from a folder (which contain two csv files). However, PowerBI can't seem to recognise the first row of each csv file as the header; when the files are combined, the headings from the second row becomes part of the combined data. Is there some way I can set first row as header for each of the csv files before they are combined? Thanks!

Hi @swwong1,

You should use the option From folder and then do an edit and combine option.

This will use one of the files as an example for the changes you want to do and then it will create a functuon that is applied to all files on the folder.

Check the link below with a complete explanation.

Thanks for the link.
I have checked the box that automatically detect headers and data type, this have solved the problem as the second data set's heading didn't appear as data.
