Moving Average with TimeStamps

Hi All,

Can somebody help to explain me the formula with the help of comments please? It calculates the moving average of 15 points but I don't understand how it works.

15 min ago =  'Table'[DateTime]-15/(24*60)
15 min Moving Average =
CALCULATE (
    AVERAGE ( 'Table'[Amount] ),
    FILTER (
        ALL ( 'Table' ),
        'Table'[DateTime] <= MAX ( 'Table'[DateTime] )
            && 'Table'[DateTime] >= MAX ( 'Table'[1 min ago] )
    )
)

Hi @Kolumam

1.

For the first column,

The default calculation level is ‘Day’. So, ’15mins’ need to be converted to ‘15/(24*60) days’.

2.

For the second measure, I think ‘'Table'[1 min ago] ‘ should be ‘'Table'[15 min ago] ‘. Right?

Select 15mins as the time range.

AVERAGE ( 'Table'[Amount] ) is to calculate the average of [Amount].

The filter expression is to filter out the eligible data which is between the datetime of current row and 15mins ago.
