Hello! I have a data set of orders we have received for a number of years. Among other information, this data set includes the day we received each order and its value. I need to determine the 12 Months Moving Average of how much business was brought into the company on a monthly basis. How can I structure the DAX expression to solve this problem?
I have found online many ways to get the 12 Month Moving Average of the value of the individual orders, which is not what I need.
I will appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks, Tom. It is indeed a good start! The post you sent me has the number of sessions per month already added up. Making a paralel with that post, what I have in my data set are the number of daily sessions, not the total per month.
How can we integrate into that DAX solution in the post an expression that includes the sum of the daily sessions that happened in each month for the monthly total shown in the table?
Regards,
Martin

If it does not meet your needs, you may consider to explain a little more detailed why not, and also may consider to provide some sample data
Hopefully this gets you started

Tom
