I would like to put two slicers on the same page (I know, that's easy, but here's the catch): however, I want them to slice the same field.
Here's the deal: I have a field with only 4 elements. I would like to have one slicer which offers only the first two, and another which shows only the second two. But I only seem to be able to put the field in either the Page Level Filters or the Report Level Filters. It ignores me when I try to put it in the Visual Level Filters.
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks
Solved! Go to Solution.
Is not exactly like a slicer but can work depends in your scenario.
And to show only 2 elements ..in Visual Level Filter select the Elements that you want to show in the visual.
In Values put Count (Distinct) to made all the elements with the same size.
1) Can a Treemap be used to replicate the behavior of a slicer?
Can you elaborate your requirement, why do you need use two slicers for the same field? So that we can check if Treemap can be used to replicate the behavior of a slicer.
2) How do you configure it to only show 2 of the elements?

In a Slicer can't applied a Visual Level filter.
My suggestion is use 2 TreeMaps.
This seems to be a solution, thank you. But I have two problems: 1) Can a Treemap be used to replicate the behavior of a slicer?, 2) How do you configure it to only show 2 of the elements?
Thanks, Rm
