Month on month and qtr on Qtr results

I have a table in Power BI , that contains Sales data , and I would like to show % Month on Month , and % Qtr on Qtr information for that latest data updated. The file is updated once a month , the quick measure doesn't seem to work for me . So for this month I would like to display MoM% for May and April and for the QoQ% for May/Apr/Mar to Feb/Jan/Dec. I have looked and it seems like I might need a Date Table, but I am not sure.

Do you have a very small set of sample data?  DAX has functions called PREVIOUSMONTH and PREVIOUSQUARTER that help create measures for comparisons such as this.
