Month not showing when filtering to specific value

I have a table listing costs for AWS / Azure each month:

I have created a simple line graph using the cost and date columns and filtering by the platform column. When I filter platform to 'AWS', the month & year is shown X Axis:

However, if I filter the same graph to 'Azure', the X axis only lists the year:

I am not using 'date hierarchy':

Though if I switch to this and drill down I have the same issue:

Any ideas why this is happening?

Found it was due to the data source having Azure costs going back further than the AWS costs. When filtered to Azure, the graph has to display more and as a result was dropping the month due to autosizing.

Hi,

You should create a Calendar table and a relationship (Many to One and Single) from the Date column of your dataset to the Date column of the Calendar Table.  In the Calendar Table, created calcualted column formulas to extract Year, Month name and Month number.  Sort the Month name by the Month number.  To the X-axis of your visual, drag Year and Month name.
