I have searched other Monthly Turnover threads but was struggled to apply them to my situation.
I have been having difficulty with form I was asked to produce:
Matrix with Monthly 2019 Turnover Rate by Manager
Turnover Rate formula being used = # of terms in given month / Average(active employees as the beginning of the month , active employees at the end of the month)
Slicer based on Days Before Term (for example, update to show TO Rate excluding reps with "Days Before Term" < 14)
As a rough example: I was able to create this:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h2SCq_juFNcGKBcnTdRD-wt2P7-A9egP/view?usp=sharing
My primary issues are calculating the number of active employees per manager for a given date in DAX (i.e. BG Active Employees Jan 1, Jan 31, Feb 1, Feb 27, etc.)
Also making sure that the slicer does not filter active employees.
Data I am working with: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12XZ-2WgNIHLv6iSTj2XSI-Huor-Twi7B/view?usp=sharing
@pmstahl , I have not seen the file yet. But check if Active/current employee calc can help you
Thank you for sharing the pbix you created. It was helpful in me creating this viz based on my set of data.
One issue I have is when I change the "Days Before Termination" Slider from 0 - 1211 to 14-1211 (omitting any terminations that were not employed for at least 2-weeks), I lose all current employees since their days before termination is blank).
Any advice on how to correct this.
I also do not understand why Hired Employee and Terminated Employee return the same value.
Am I able to upload the pbix file I am working with?
