Hi Community,
Following this instruction, I am able to connect to the Dynamics 365 Business Central Power BI content packs. Data is loaded in Power BI Online successfully.
I am also able to download and modify the Power BI content packs for D365 CRM according to this documetation; but haven't found similar post for D365 Business Centreal.
Is it possible to download and modify the out-of-box Power BI content packs for Business Central?
Thanks,
Jimmy

Hello Amy,
Thank you for the reply.
I've tried the "Save a copy" option - that only duplicates the report within the "App", but not for downloading it for edit.
May I ask, in your screenshot, how you can enable the last option "Download report (Preview)"? I am wondering maybe that's what I am looking for?
Thanks,
Jimmy
Hi @Anonymous ,
Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently. You can post your new idea here https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas , to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
Maybe you can try to save a copy of your Dynamics 365 Business Central Power BI content pack in Power BI Desktop, then you can edit in the new content pack.
Best Regards,
Amy

Hi @Anonymous ,
It is not supported to download Dynamics 365 Business Central Content Packs the in Power BI currently (this option is in grey color). So recommend you post your new idea here https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas , and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.
