Missing trend line in Line chart in some reports with the same data elements

Hello folks,

I have a strange issue. I have two Line charts where the only difference is that one shows months and one shows days (the same date field used). The one that shows months has trend line in it. The daily chart doesn't have the trend line option. I do not understand why?

The bottom one has a month slicer. That is the difference. The date column in top one has Year-Month on the axis. The bottom one has the same date column but month-day hierarchy.

Does anybody have any idea why trend lines not avialable for the bottom one?

Thanks,

Stan

It happened to me with graphics that I already had made to which I tried to add tenedencia line obtaining the same problem. I solved it by deleting the graph and creating it from 0, in this way the options of tenedecia and forecast appeared to me as if by magic.

I am using a date column in my X axis. The hierarchy is month-day. With that there is no trend line. If I drop the month leaving just the day I see a trend line. But this is what makes it more complicated. I have another line chart where I placed year-month from the same date column and there is a trend line. So the behavour is inconsistent if you think it only works with one level of hierarchy.

@Anonymous for trend line you have to have date on x-axis, and I guess that is why the top one is working and the bottom one is not.
