Missing columns when connecting data using Sharepoint Online List

I am trying to pull data from MS Project (Professional Online) which is available on my sharepoint website, using Sharepoint Online List. When I do so, only the default columns get pulled through and the custom columns that I have created do not come through.

I have tried the solution suggested here but it does not work for me. It keeps giving me an error saying "Access to the resource is forbidden".

Any help on this is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Anonymous

when you encounter the error : "Access to the resource is forbidden", please follow below steps:

In the Power BI desktop Click on “Edit Queries” from the ribbon then select on “Data source settings”.

Select on the site URL then click on “Edit Permission” in the Data source settings page.

Click on Edit.

Select on Organizational account then click on Sign in.

Pick an account. And double click on it.

Now when I am trying to give the site URL in getting data no error is coming. In the Navigator page, all the site list are coming.

Please note that:

If your site is Office365, please enter organizational credential using the third option in the above screenshot. If your site is on premise, use Windows credentials as you mentioned. In addition, make sure that you use the latest version of Power BI Desktop.
