Missing Sum Icon in the table

Hi,

For some reason, I lost the Icon of sum in my tables for all numeric fields.

This is how it was before:

Any idea how to fix it?

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous ,

The icon in front of fields with numeric type appears when the option Summarization under Column tools tab is set as any of aggregations(Sum/Average/Minimum/Maximum/Count/Count (Distinct) ). When it set to Don't summarize, the icon will be disappear... Please check whether the Summarization of these numeric fields also be set to Don't summarize.

I had the same problem, but both my Data type and Format were set to a Decimal number and Summarization was at Sum. My problem was Tabular Editor, when you create a calculation group, it sets DiscourageImplicitMeasures to True, which disables summarization. To turn it back on, remove any calculation groups, go to Tabular Editor, click on Model, and set DiscourageImplicitMeasures to False. Or you can use measures to do summarizations (which should be a better way).

This was very helpful, thank you!
