Hi,
I am new to Power BI. I was trying to change the display unit of my card (display thousands instead of K). I learned from others that can be done by changing the formatting in the Modeling tab, but mine does not have it. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, but the Data Type is still missing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Thanks,
Kin

it can be done in visual settings
Hi @kin ,
What version of Power BI Desktop are you using? If the version of your Power BI Desktop is relatively new, you can select the field which need to be formatted, then navigate to "Column tools" ribbon to set the data display with comma ( ",") as a thousands separator.
Best Regards
Rena
