Milestone trend analysis

Hello everyone,

is there a way to publish a Milestone Trend Analysis in PowerBI? Unfortunately i cant find any suitable visualizations in the store.

If not, another way to visualize our milestones would be the following

milestone 1     original date      |      last months date       |       this months date

milestone 2     original date      |      last months date       |       this months date

milestone 3     original date      |      last months date       |       this months date

and so on, but not in a table but on a timeline. Any options possible?

KR, Nick

Hello,

I know this post is quite old but I also had to create a Milestone Trend Analysis in Power BI and I didn't find any free visual available. That's why I decided to develop the MTA in Deneb using Vega-Lite.

I wrote a blog post explaning how to create the MTA here --> https://www.data-traveling.com/articles/milestone-trend-analysis-visual-in-power-bi-with-deneb You can also find the Power BI report in the blog post.

I hope this helps to solve the problem from other people.

Otherwise, you may go to this link https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Create-Milestone-Trend-Analysis-MTA-in-Power-BI/m-p/775632#M373622 and try barakb32's solution with a Python visual from his Github page. It will display like below.

@Anonymous , Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
