Migrating Tableau to Power Bi

I am currently working on migrating Tableau Reports to Power BI. I am currently facing problems in converting the Tableau Calculation. Needed help in this.

Length = IFNULL((([Por Approval Orig]-[Gl Code Issue Date])*12)/365,0)

Por Approval and Gl Code Issue Date are Direct Columns

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

@SaiKumar Now I got it.

= IF(MAX(Table[Por Approval Orig])=BLANK() || MAX(Table[Gl Code Issue Date])=BLANK(),0,((MAX(Table[Por Approval Orig])-MAX(Table[Gl Code Issue Date]))*12)/365)

NOTE: Replace "Table " wiht your original table name.

Don't forget to give thumbs up and accept this as a solution if it helped you!!!

Please take a quick glance at newly created dashboards : Restaurant Management Dashboard , HR Analytics Report , Hotel Management Report, Sales Analysis Report , Fortune 500 Companies Analysis , Revenue Tracking Dashboard

@SaiKumar  You can try this out:

Por Approval Orig and Gl Code Issue Date are Direct Columns not Measures

@SaiKumar , try to take SUM of them.

 =  IFERROR(((SUM([Por Approval Orig])-SUM([Gl Code Issue Date]))*12)/365,0)

1.pngThe second row in length of planning process should come zero.I tried with the solution you provided but its not working.

@SaiKumar Oh I didn't realize that those are your dates columns.

Instead of SUM kindly use MAX.

Used MAX still getting the same values

@SaiKumar Now I got it.

= IF(MAX(Table[Por Approval Orig])=BLANK() || MAX(Table[Gl Code Issue Date])=BLANK(),0,((MAX(Table[Por Approval Orig])-MAX(Table[Gl Code Issue Date]))*12)/365)

NOTE: Replace "Table " wiht your original table name.
