Microsoft Mashup Evaluation Container consumes lots of memory and CPU

Hi,

I have my 15+ PBI report built on my own personal desktop but dataset is reside on different server from remote desktop. So, when ever auto refresh happens it will create around 20 or more Microsoft Mashup Evaluation Container on remote desktop server which consume lot of memory (92%) and CPU.  After refresh happends still it doesn't releash the Microsoft Mashup Evaluation Container task.

Any workaround on how to release the space consumes by this mashup container?

Any solution would be highly appreciated.

@Tahreem24  this is a big topic and you probably need to dissect the project into parts.

If you are solely using

SQL for transformation (make sure SQL query is optimized - if possible store them in dataflow)

and PQ only for loading (if possible query stored dataflow)

and DAX for analysis, the next step is probably to optimize your DAX measures, calculations, derived tables, calculated columns.

@Tahreem24  my two cents would be to do majority of the transformation server side by utlizing a sql server and insert the sata there from different sources, use pqwry only to load data and use dax  for the analysis.

@smpa01 Thanks for your reply. We mostly do transformations at SQL Server end.  But Still it's blocking lost of memeory and CPU though.

Any other suggestions that would prevent the mashup engine automatically after refresh done.
