Hi
I am trying to show a count of each activity against the relevant opportunity.
I cannot find a link from the opportunity table to the activitypointers or activityparties table or any of the individual task tables (appointment, phonecall, task etc)
Ultimately I want to compare the amount of activities for a won opportunity to a lost opportunity. This will then help our business to understand how we can interact with our customers for better results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @v-shex-msft
Having found the relevant tables, I merged two together and was able to get the desired outcome.
This really wasn't about understanding Dynamics 365. I have an understanding of this, it was purely locating the correct tables.
For reference the relevant tables are activitypointers, activityparties and opportunities.
Hope this helps anyone else who comes across this.
Hi @wlinley ,
It seems like your not so familiar with MS dynamics opportunity, I'd like to suggest you to take a look at following document about dynamics opportunity:
Manage opportunities with Dynamics 365 for Sales

Hi @v-shex-msft I have read the opportunity pages as you suggested to see if there were any ways in which we could use the system which we are not at present.
We are using the system exactly as the links suggests except for two instances. At present we do not create opportunities from activities and we do not use leads.
We had Leads removed from our system when installed as it does not bestfit our business however i will suggest that we begin to create opportunities from activities.
Just to be sure, it is not possible to get access to the timeline in each opportunity for analysis purposes?
