All,
I have two tables for two different projects (different source files) but they have the same header columns (but different row info). I want to add these two into one field and add a new column which will label/identify project nae (based on which dataset it came from).

Since the two tables have the same header columns, if you could use Append Function in Edit Queries?
For example:
Step1:
Add an identity custom column for each table
Step2:
Then click Home->Combine->Append Queries
Result:
