Merging two dataset tables together and adding an identifier column

All,

I have two tables for two different projects (different source files) but they have the same header columns (but different row info). I want to add these two into one field and add a new column which will label/identify project nae (based on which dataset it came from).

Thanks in advance.

hi, @ahmedKalbani

Since the two tables have the same header columns, if you could use Append Function in Edit Queries?

For example:

table 1table 1table 2table 2

Step1:

Add  an identity custom column for each table

Step2:

Then click Home->Combine->Append Queries

Result:

11.JPG
