Merge query issue: we were unable to determine how many matches the selection will return

I have 2 set of data to merge and its about close to 10k line items for both tables.

1st table consist of the forecast number, materials and product group.

2nd table consist of Sales dept, materials and cost.

Aim: I am trying to merge this 2 tables, so i can see the Sales Dept and Forecast numbers when i clicked on any materials.

I have clicked Merge Queries as new, chose the bigger table as 1st table and highlighted the column Materials.

Next, i chose the 2nd table and highlighted the column Materials as well.

Error message "We were unable to determine how many matches the selection will return" was shown.

I've tried changing both Materials type to text and numbers but still doesn't work.

There are only numbers in the Materials column.

The materials are between 5-11 digits long.

I've seen that. It seems like a similar issue, but that solution does not work..

Can you test it with only a limited sample of rows?

Yes it worked with lesser data.
