Measuring Store Hours with no Customers

Hi,

I have created a matrix visual with hours (hour field) on rows and days of week (day field) on columns that measures customer traffic for a given hour and day. I noticed that some combinations of hour and day there are no customers. How can I create a measure to determine the number of hours in a week without customers?

Hi @DaxAmateur,

Maybe you can add 0 with current measure, similar to:

Final measure=[measures customer traffic]+0

Best regards,

Yuliana Gu

Can you share example of your dataset, measures and visuals?

If you just need a total should be easy to have a total number of hours and then subtract the hours with customers.

One way would be to use a date time table filtered by open hours and count rows see this thread for a discussion on how to build one to do that. https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Efficient-Date-Time-Table-Creation-Using-DAX/td-p/466987 But there may be more elegant solutions.
