Measures in visuals

Hi All,

In my image below I have two tables. The bottom tables shows all results between the given date range. The top table shows each individual users latest result between the date range.

Using the top table, I would like a pie chart to show the count of 'Latest Grade', so 2 for Medium & 1 for High.

However, I can't seem to add my measures to the pie chart visual to show the data in this way. Would anyone be able to help with this?

Thanks in advance,

Brett

Hi @brettg,

As we know, measures could not be added to visual as column, Could you please share you pbix and your excepted result to me. So that I can have a check whether is there any other way to work around?

Hi @v-frfei-msft

Thanks for looking into this for me.

I have attached my pbix file to the following link https://www.justbeamit.com/9pg9g

I would just like a Pie chart which shows the count of 'Latest Grade' for each individual users latest test. I have got this to work in table format, but it would be really helpful in a Pie chart. I'm guessing I will need some measures that act as visual filterts?

Thanks for your help!

Brett

Hi @brettg,

Based on my test, I think here we can use tooltips to work around.

Hi @v-frfei-msft

Thanks for your help! So close..

I would like to use 'Grade' as the legend, so it counts the users in 'High' & 'Medium'

When I switch the legend to 'Grade' it's not working though, is it only possible to show the user as the legend?

Thanks,

Brett

Hi @brettg,

Based on my test using your data, Yes, it is only possible to show the user as the legend currently.

Hi @v-frfei-msft

Thanks for the time you spent looking at my issue. I guess I need to see if I can get a distinct user measure to add as a tool tip. If I can manage that it should only show 1 test per user.

Thanks,

Brett
