Pretty new to measures. One thing I find frustrating is that a new measure is needed every time you want to make any kind of an adjustment to an amount, no matter how small. For instance even if I just want to change the sign of an amount by multiplying by * -1 I have to create a whole new measure.
Am I understanding this correctly? In other BI tools you can create amounts on the fly within the chart. Is that possible in Power BI.
Thanks,
Z

By clicking the measure name, you can modify it directly in report view. All the charts using this measure will be changed accordingly. In Power BI, you can not modify the measure for a sepcified chart only.

@Anonymous,
“create amounts on the fly within the chart”
What do you mean that "create amounts on the fly"? In your scenario, you can create a new measure or calculated column to change the sign of an amount .
