VAR __ITEM = SELECTEDVALUE( Table8[Item] )
VAR __YEAR = SELECTEDVALUE(Table8[Year])- 1
VAR __LASTYEAR = CALCULATE( SUM(Table8[Value]), Table8[Item] = __ITEM, Table8[Year] = __YEAR)
VAR __VARIANCE = SUM(Table8[Value]) - __LASTYEAR
VAR __CHANGE = DIVIDE( __VARIANCE, __LASTYEAR)
RETURN
