I have a dataset like this
Employee Name Attendance Issue
Bob Absent
Bob Absent
Bob Absent
Bob Late
Bob Late
I want to be able count the number of employee issues and put them in a table. So the table woud look like this
Name Absent Late
Bob 3 2
I'm thinking the best way is to create a measure for each attendance issue I have. Then put all those measures into a table.
It has to be a table and not a matrix as I'm adding other columns to it like Employee Supervisor. End goal is to then create a calculated column where I can apply weighted values to the different columns to then come up with a "score". So someone with more absences than someone else would have a lower score

You can create two-measures as follows and use on a table visual:
Absent = CALCULATE( COUNTROWS(T13), T13[ Attendance Issue] = "Absent")
Late = CALCULATE( COUNTROWS(T13), T13[ Attendance Issue] = "Late")
