Measure to Ignore Slicer Selection

Hi,

See below image: The table is showing correct "DT National"

arythedj_2-1649383075926.png

However, if I select a zone, for example Adelaide, the "DT National" is now filtered to Adelaide too.

This is the current formula of "DT National"

DT National = CALCULATE([DT],ALL('Delivery Jobs Table'[Zone Name]))

Is there a way to make the measure to ignore the slicer selection?

Many thanks in advance for the help.

Regards,
Ary

Hi @arythedj

This has nothing to do with measure, even if you don't put any value the visual will be filtered (see below).

So in this scenario, you can change the interaction control, link: Change how visuals interact in a report - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

Or you can create a table below and use it in slicer, but it needs you to change your measures accordingly.

@v-xiaotang Thank you.

Creating a separate table for the Zone works.

@VahidDM You helped me a lot in the past.
Just wondering if you have any insights on this?

@arythedj , Try like

DT National = CALCULATE([DT],ALL('Delivery Jobs Table'))

DT National = CALCULATE([DT],removefilters('Delivery Jobs Table'[Zone Name]))

@amitchandak

The first suggestion seems to break the date in the table:

arythedj_0-1649385422373.png

The second suggesion is having the same issue as before:

arythedj_1-1649385491888.png

@arythedj ,
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.

@amitchandak please download the pbix file here (I don't know why I can't attach the file in this thread):

https://drive.google.com/file/d/12GT0zIyCBrvH7CMfK_f2LlozDb2pyyEy/view?usp=sharing

You will see that the DT National in this file is 46.48

But if I select 'Adelaide' in the Zone slicer, it will change the DT National to the same as Adelaide DT.
