Hello! I am working on a staffing variance report. I need to carry forward a measure for our current staff variance to future months. I have tried the following measure that worked in an old Excel PowerQuery report but it is not working in PowerBI. I also tried PARRELLPERIOD instead of DATESBETWEEN, and could not get it to work. Any help will be appreciated.
I would like the VarRF field to to carry -3.36% through Mar. Once we have actual staff for Feb, Mar would then adjust to Feb's variance.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I ended up figuring this out but thought I'd leave the solution here in case anyone ever has the same problem. The above measure does work; however, not if "Today()" is still in January. Once "TODAY()" was a date in February (like today 2/2/23), the measure works.
