Measure showing outputs as percentage or absolute nos.

I have created a measure which is linked to a drop down where the user has a selection to select either absolute or percentage. Is there a way that when I use in charts, it is automatically recognised as either a % or absolute no. and the axis changes accordingly. Currently, if I set it up a no. then percentages would be visible as 0.02 for 2%.
