I'm trying to create a measure that shows the the total number of days applied by a date filter (to use as a denominator in other measures). The fact table doesn't necessarily have contiguos dates at the required granulairty so I used the Date table dates. The measure returns the correct result when visualised alone, but when I add the measure to a table visualistaion it ignores filtering applied on it by a slicer
The measure is...
Total Days = DISTINCTCOUNT('Date'[Date])
My data is a star schema of 4 table : a Sales Fact + Product, Store, and Date dimensions. There is a 1:M relationship between each dimension and the fact table
The table visualisation has
'Product'[Name]
'Measures'[Sales]
'Measures'[Total Days]
With a 'Store'[Name] slicer and a 'Date'[Date] page level filter
Change the "Cross filter direction" in the relationship to "Both" (for Product and Sales Fact table).
I hope this helps

Thanks @BILASolution that does work, but I ommited to mention that I'd like to introduce a second fact table to the model, so the dimensions will have realtionships to both fact tables. Bi directional relationships don't work propertly with conformed dimensions. Ideally I'm looking for a DAX solution
