Measure Value and its Total

Hi All,

Please find the below screenshot

Screenshot_2.png

Active Employees and Terminated Employees are measures, and these two measures are working fine.

I am facing some problem in Total Employees.

Here in this eg. Total Employees = Active + Terminated

But in the "Total" row i dont want 5+12 =17. Instead of 17 i want 5.

Let me tell you why i want 5,

First month of 2018 is Jan and it has 4 in Total employees, Last month of that year is Dec and it has 6 in Total Employees. Thus average of these values need to be shown in total i.e., (4+6)/2 = 5

Other Relevant information:

Active Employee total count is 5 because the value for dec month is 5 i.e., displaying max value at the total.

Terminated Employees count at total is 12, sum of all values from Jan to Dec.

So when we click 2017 year same logic need to be implemented.

Please let me know whether we have this feasibilty or not.

Thanks in advance

Prakash

This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/DAX-Commands-and-Tips/Dealing-with-Measure-Totals/td-p/63376

Also, this Quick Measure, Measure Totals, The Final Word should get you what you need:
