HI. We use MS Azure as database. Database has milions rows. Power Bi use Direct query.
I don´t know if we set up connection wrongly , but now calculations are too slow . Analyse in Excel is impossible. What is the limit for rows of data for database. Is it possible to make it faster?
Hi @pstanek,
There is currently no limit on the rows of data you can import into Power BI. There is a 10 gb Per user size limit for pro user in Power BI services.
And the speed depends on your datasource and architecture. Here are some tips for you reference.
•Hide or unhide columns in your dataset.
•Use a mix of data types such as names, times, dates, and numbers.
•Avoid (or hide) columns with duplicate information.
Regards,
Charlie Liao
You mean hide in Query editor, or directly in database
