Hi,
In slicer, the date should be seleted to Max date by default whenever report is opened and also allow user to select the date of interest.
Eg: In the following slicer, Max date = 08/02/2022
Whenever user opened the report, the max date must be selected by default
Then if user want to see any different date data, then can able to select that date.
Please help me to do it.
Thanks,
AshDil.
I am not aware of any self selecting capabilities of slicers. I'm not sure about the size of your report, but if you have a reasonable amount of measure, you can adjust them to show the data for the latest date, unless another date is selected from the slicer. Goes someting like this.
Measure =
If( HasoneValue(Calendar[Date]),
YourMeasureHere, //If selection is made, calculate the calue
Calcualte( YourMeasureHere, filter(calendar, Calendar[Date] = Today()) ) // If no selection is made, use todays date by default (or use max date of your dataset, if that is more appropriate)
