Matrix group column two tables

Hi Community

i want to merge some data from two tables in a matrix view. 

the "Jahr" column the year column is present in both tables.

I connected them to a m:n relationship.
but then i cant use the relasionship to the other tables like sparte and vermittler

HI @PeterK,

AFAIK, the current power bi data model only allows one major relationship activated. (the others will be turned into inactive to prevent the conflict of analysis and aggregations)

I'd like to suggest you take a look at the following link to use star schema with dimension tables to link different tables:

Hi,

Assuming you have a Date column in your Data table, create a Calendar Table with calculated column formulas for Year, Month name and Month column.  Sort the Month name column by the Month number.  To your visual, drag the Year column.  Create a relationship from the Date column of each table to the Date column of your Calendar Table.
