Matrix Visual with recursive hierarchy

Can someone help me with a this problem?  It's an organizational hierarchy, so the hierarchy can vary.  I have the data flattened out with a path

eg:

(CEO|ManagerName|SupervisorName|ResourceName|ProjectName|)

(CEO|ManagerName|ResourceName|ProjectName|)

but I'm not clear on how to use this in the Matrix visual to expand each level and display corresponding values.....I'm new to Power BI and feel like I must be missing something simple.

To achieve your requirement, you just need to create a hierarchy for your data set. Please refer to following sample, see if it works for you:

Since you did not share some sample data, so I have assumed the data set is like:

11.PNG22.PNG

If above doesn’t satisfy your requirement, please share us more information like some sample data and your desired result.

Thanks,
Xi Jin.
