For my matrix visual I'm looking for a method to sort columns by a hidden dimension. The dataset have 2 dimensions: displayorder (to be hidden) and categoryname
I know the method when doing this for rows dimensions - i.e. setting 'Text wrap' to off and collapsing the field in the matrix.
But unfortunately I can't see how to use this methods for columns or find other methods.
Hopefully someone in here know the solution to solve this issue.

You can go to the data view and select the category name and the select Sort by columns(Column tools) and select the displayorder.
This will not work right away, but if you take the fields out of the matrix and put the category name back in it will sort the same order as the displayorder.
Hope this helps.
