I have a column with Canadian postal codes: ex. L7E 2Y3
It's in ABC format. I change the Data Category to "Postal Code" and try dropping it into the "Location" value of the Bing map visual. Nothing happens. I trimmed and cleaned the text which didn't help.
So I tried taking out the space in the postal code: L7E2Y3
That doesn't work.
Then I try adding the country to the postal code: CANADA L7E 2Y3 & CANADA L7E2Y3
That doesn't work.
I tried ON L7E 2Y3 & ON L7E2Y3
Didn't work either.
Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong because if I search L7E 2Y3 or L7E2Y3 on the Bing website, it finds the location.
Thanks
I ran into a similar issue, but had to change the information to "place". I don't know why, but thank you for the idea!
This worked after I changed the postal code from type "Postal Code" to "Address" which makes no sense but it worked.
Hi , @PA7177
What kind of visualization are you using? Everything looks well on my side.
Take a try to change the category of your data.
