Hello,
I am creating a dashboard in Power BI Desktop which consists of a map, with specific addresses I gather from an excel table. A dot is placed on the map for each address in the DB. In the table, the whole address is stored in one cell.
However, when I use the basic "Map" function in Power BI, only a small portion of the addresses are recognized.
I checked the excel sheet and the addresses are all in the same format. Here are two examples, one that is recognized and one that is not:
Route des Batailleux 3, 1218 Le Grand-Saconnex, Switzerland
Rue des Moulins 1, 1204 Genève, Suisse
I replaced all of the "Suisse" occurences with "Switzerland" but I still get the exact same result. I don't know why this is happening. Is it a problem with Bing maps? I tried searching for the addresses manually in bing maps and it worked.
However when I use the ArcGIS map all the addresses are recognized. But I can't publish the dashboard while using this map function. Either the report is blank, and if I try exporting to .pptx, I get an error: "This visual does not support exporting".
If I publish the dashboard: "For embedded visual, ArcGIS Maps for Power BI is currently not supported."
This is very problematic, has anyone ever experienced this?
Thank you
