Mapping latitude and longitude from 2 different sources in the same map

One dataset has lat and lng from applicant addresses, the other dataset has schools lat and lng applicants are applying to. What is the recommended way to map both in the same map?

The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example. If possible please share a sample pbix file after removing sensitive information.

But union allows to union data from two sources

One dataset make things easy. You may also try Append Queries (Table.Combine) in Query Editor.

I am wondering about the best approach for this scenario. Is creating a union the only way to plot lat and lng from separate datasets in the same map? I was hoping I could plot lat and lng from two separate datasets in the same map. Let me know it is clearer now, I'd appreciate your thoughts.
