Map visual not displaying with latitude and longitude

I'm trying to use the map visualization using latitude and longitude and one summed data field. The map doesn't show anything though.

I've done the following to troubleshoot:

- Set my latitude and longitude Format to "Decimal number"

- Set Data category to "Longitude" and "Latitude"

- Set my post code field to Data category "Postal Code"

Below is a screen shot. What else could I try?

Hi jcueland,

Are you using the Filled Mapg?  (You have an older version and the icons are no longer current.)   Also, I suggest that you update your PowerBI to the latest version as that might help you as well.

Assuming you are using the Filled Map, then I think your issue is not the Lat or Long but the Location field.  Select that field and then change the Data Category for it to the appropriate type.

I would appreciate Kudos if my response was helpful. I would also appreciate it if you would Mark this As a Solution if it solved the problem. Thanks!

@Anonymous if you are using Lat and Lng, dont use postal code and see if it works.
