Hi All,
More of a question than help with anything.
Is it possible with Power BI to add a drop down from a data set that allows you to manually add a value to a total.
EG:
Total = 100
Pick from the drop down 10, it adds 10 to the total.

Hi @m1ke909
You can manually add the value to source data in power query , but if the total is aggregate value, it's not accessible currently.
you could do something like this with DAX and What If parameters
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-what-if
mixed with ISFILTERED or HASONEVALUE to cater only for the Total (you have to set it up per specific dimension though)
https://powerpivotpro.com/2013/03/hasonevalue-vs-isfiltered-vs-hasonefilter/
Even though it's doable, I think it's not a good practice - it's will be difficult to make sure you show correct number in all the scenarios/data cuts
