Hi Everyone,
We are facing issue while loading data from MYSQL server. We have somewhere 1 billion rows and whenever we try to import data it gets Power Bi Desktop gets crash. We are using May 2021 version optimized for report server as we have to host over report on report server with schedule refersh. We want below items to be addressed:
1) Limited data set to be worked on PBI Desktop.
2) Data load through direct query by using any connector or plugin.
Thanks !
Regards,
Shubham

@Anonymous of course billion rows will not fit into memory if you are using import. MySQL is not supported for DQ. Power BI data sources - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Either trim the size of the data (bring only a few years of data, filter in views) or you need to think of another data source that supports DQ like SQL Server.
